Snack Bar Volunteers Needed
You too can help the Crescenta Valley Little League throughout 2010! Dozens of volunteers donate hundreds of hours every year in support of CVLL running the league, coordinating each division, coaching teams, serving as umpires and organizing team events as coordinators. But there is always room for more parents or volunteers who can offer a few minutes once in a while to help make CVLL one of the best experiences in our community for each child playing baseball or softball this year. Currently we need parents and volunteers who can help set up the Montrose Park snack bar. Anyone who can offer 30 minutes of their time starting minutes at 5:00 p.m. Monday through Fridays to help open the shed, clean and start the barbeque and generally get things going would be greatly appreciated. That’s it, once you are done, you can go back to watching your child’s game and you are done for the rest of the night. Please note, unless you serve a full shift you won’t receive your $50 refund, but you will be helping CVLL offer a better baseball and community experience for everyone attending or participating in CVLL games. Civic groups and students looking to earn Community Service credits are encouraged to organize and offer help as well.
